WORKING HOURS: Full Time (evenings and weekend work involved)

As part of our continuing commitment to improve community relationships, generate income and deliver events nationwide, we are currently seeking 2 Fundraising Officers for the period leading up to and including the month of Ramadan 2026.

THE ROLE
Islamic Help is seeking 2 enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Officers to support our upcoming Ramadan 2026 fundraising and events campaign from December 2025 to Eid ul Fitr 2026, which is expected to be on or around 20 March 2026 (final date to be confirmed).
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, the successful candidates will play a key role in planning, co-ordinating, and delivering impactful fundraising activities - particularly around our major campaign season, which includes Ramadan 2026. This role will involve community engagement, event co-ordination, and donor support to help maximise income and awareness for Islamic Help’s global projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, co-ordinate, and execute income generating fundraising campaigns and community events in line with Islamic Help’s strategy.
- Engage and build relationships with donors, businesses, mosques, and community organisations to secure financial support.
- Recruit, brief, and motivate volunteers to assist with fundraising activities and events.
- Manage online and offline donations, ensuring records are accurate and communications with donors are timely and professional.
- Track and process pledges and donations, maintaining accurate reports for internal use.
- Identify new fundraising and partnership opportunities at local and regional levels.
- Represent Islamic Help at community events and ensure that all activities uphold the charity’s values and professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with the wider fundraising team to ensure smooth delivery of key campaigns throughout the contract period.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in liaising with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisation and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel locally for events.
ESSENTIAL:
- Must have valid driving licence.
