Yusuf & Yunus (AS) - P2

Greatest Stories Of The Qur'an: Yusuf & Yunus (AS)

Join us for an incredible imaan-building weekend webinar series as we look at the stories and lessons from Yusuf (AS) and Yunus (AS).

There are so many inspiring and lesson-filled stories of the Prophets in the Qur’an. These stories have not only shaped the history of Islam but also teach us vital lessons about many of the issues we face in our daily lives. The Prophets teach us the best possible ways we can attain Allah's great mercy, guidance, and protection. Despite the difficulties the Prophets faced, they stood firm in their faith with utmost patience and perseverance.

Saturday: Yusuf (AS) The Dreamer

Yusuf (Joseph) (AS) lived his entire life confronting schemes made by people he trusted and those closest to him. There were plots to kill him, he was sold as a slave, and he was imprisoned for years. This amazing story explores themes such as jealousy, hatred, and deception. However, the story at its core looks at how Yusuf (AS), by ultimately relying on Allah, overcomes these challenges with patience, bravery, and honesty, attaining high position and status in the kingdom of Pharoah’s.

Sunday: Yunus (AS) and the Whale

Yunus (AS) was sent down by Allah, like many of the other Prophets, to convey the call to Islam. He was elevated by Allah so much so that Abu Huraira reported The Prophet (SAW) saying, “No one of you should say that I am better than Yunus ibn Matta (Jonah son of Matta)”. We find wonderful lessons looking into the story of Yunus (AS), that looks into the importance of keeping steadfast, remembrance of Allah, patience and repentance. We also find that a powerful du’a is recited by Yunus (AS) that can heavily impact and be utilised in our lives today.
