Reach for the summit of England’s highest peak and raise vital funds to support Islamic Help’s Yemen Emergency Appeal.
By taking on the challenge of Scafell Pike, you’ll not only be testing yourself with like-minded adventurers but you’ll also be raising desperately-needed aid for the people of Yemen who are trapped in one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters.
Civil conflict, disease and food insecurity have left 24 million people – about 80% of Yemen’s population – in dire need of aid to meet their most basic needs (source: Unesco).
Islamic Help is one of the few humanitarian organisations delivering emergency aid on the ground. With your generous backing, our team is helping ease the suffering of the displaced and most vulnerable by providing emergency food packs, bread, water and medical aid.
In the last 3 years, Islamic Help’s team in Yemen has delivered emergency aid for more than half a million people in need in Yemen. It has included medical care for malnourished children; bread from our bakery to approx. 1,500 people daily; clean drinking water; support for orphans and widows, and food packs for tens of thousands of families.
At 3,209ft, Scafell Pike in the heart of the Lake District is England’s highest mountain. Surrounded by mountain peaks, huge cliffs and deep gullies, the stunning landscape sends the imagination wild and brings a real sense of adventure. The climb to the top should not be under-estimated but never fear - we have expert mountain guides to assist us to the top!

As part of your registration, we will need to take your contact details and also any medical conditions. Any person under the age of 18 will need to get their parent or guardian to authorise their participation. Every individual participant will need to raise the minimum fundraising target but don’t worry, Islamic Help’s fundraising team is on hand to help you reach it.
