The Daughters of The Prophet ﷺ - Part 2

The Daughters of The Prophet ﷺ - Part Two

Part One: Saturday 30th October - 11:00AM - 1:00PM (GMT/BST)

Part Two: Sunday 31st October - 11:00AM - 1:00PM (GMT/BST)

Islamic Help is proud to present a weekend of webinars dedicated to the blessed lives of Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ)blessed daughters.

As followers of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), we enjoy a unique, special bond with him, like no other relation in the world. On the one hand, we take pride in the fact that our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is the jewel of Allah’s creations, His most-Beloved and the Imam of all prophets. His elated status with Allah is beyond our limited comprehension. Yet at the same time, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)is still so close to us, closer than our own selves (33: 6). He is a perfect role model for us. Like the Qur’an describes him, ‘he is from amongst yourself’ (9: 128). He married and had children. He worked as a trader, a shepherd at one point in his blessed life. He experienced hardship, through the will of Allah. And as a result, he is not ‘out of touch’ but very much a source of inspiration for all Muslims today.

This certainly applied to the household of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He was a perfect husband and father, and so there is so much to learn today. Inshaa Allah, this programme will focus on how his unparalleled parenting influenced his four blessed daughters,

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) had four daughters; Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum and Fatima al-Zahra (ra). A brief biography will be offered of all these great characters over two programmes, the first dedicated to Fatima and Zaynab, and the second to Ruqayyah and Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with them all). Importantly, the programme will also highlight what lessons we can learn from them in this day and age.
