Donate Water Pumps, Toilets and Wash Units
Accompanying the need for clean and safe drinking water is the provision of sanitation and hygiene facilities. As part of our WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programmes we provide a range of solutions allowing them to donate water hand pumps, wells, toilets and shower units. All of these give the poorest and most vulnerable the opportunities to transform their lives through improved health and the potential for socio-economic advancement.
Essential Components
The provision of clean water that is safe for human consumption allied with sanitation and basic hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands, are essential in improving health and reducing disease and illness. According to the World Health Organisation, where water is not readily available, people may decide hand-washing is not a priority, thereby adding to the likelihood of diarrhoea and other potentially fatal diseases that are easily preventable.

The Effect of Your Donation
The Prophet (PBUH) said the best form of charity is giving water (Hadith). Providing this source of life is inexpensive but the rewards can be eternal. With hand pumps/wells, we erect a plaque at the site for donors which can include the name of a loved or remembered one that they are donating it for. If you wish to include a name (max. 25 characters with spaces) under ‘Sadaqah Jariyah for’, please add it to the Notes section when completing your donation.
